Goodtimeswithanna: the strength of regularity

A mother of four and a busy woman with a rhythmic day-to-day routine, Anna navigates between demanding work and intense family life. Far from the clichés of the "slow-life", she has learned to cope with short nights and busy days. From her experiences and her curiosity about skin, she has drawn a pragmatic beauty philosophy: a realistic approach to skin, where simplicity and regularity prevail over ephemeral trends. Portrait of a woman who advocates self-deprecation and kindness as true allies of radiance.

What is your relationship with your skin?

My skin and I have been through some turbulent times. There were times when I didn't really recognize it anymore. Like many people, I've sometimes been tempted by the appeal of new products: every skincare trend always looks very promising on paper.

However, I've come to understand that skin isn't really susceptible to fashion trends. It responds to very simple and, above all, very constant fundamentals. Over time, I've come to realize that regularity is far more effective than complicated routines.

What's your skincare routine at the moment?

My routine has to be compatible with a house with four children... so it's necessarily simple and effective. I go for the essentials: gentle cleansing, deep moisturizing and targeted skincare.

In the morning: I cleanse my skin with PERS Cleansing Gel, then apply a serum with Vitamin C; I always finish by massaging the last drops onto the backs of my hands. I continue with Light Cream, not only on the face, but also on the neck and décolleté, areas we too often forget. I finish with my make-up, applied with more haste than precision (Charly Salvator would probably faint!).

In the evening: I double-cleanse with Cleansing Balm followed by Gel. Once or twice a week, I apply PERS 0.3% Pro-Retinol. The rest of the time, I use an acne cream. I guess I'm getting younger!

Is there a product that you use as a ritual?

I attach the utmost importance to cleansing, both for my skin and my eyes. For me, it's where it all starts: perfectly clean skin is the best basis for receiving skincare.

If there's a second product I'm never without, it's Glow Balm: for me, plump, moisturized lips are the foundation.

What does it mean to you to feel good about yourself?

Feeling good about your skin means finding a balance between accepting that it's evolving... and continuing to take care of it in a demanding way. It's about feeling beautiful and reflecting an image that truly corresponds to ourselves. And, above all, it's about learning to accept yourself with gentleness and kindness.

Any advice you'd like to pass on?

Be patient. Take the time to understand your skin's needs, because it evolves with you, and it sometimes takes time to find what really suits it. Consistency and simplicity will always surpass miracle solutions.
