The PERS protocol is intended to be universal. Whatever the brand and regardless of the marketing pitch, its vocation is to help classify all cosmetic products into four major actions: PROTECT, ENHANCE, REPAIR and STIMULATE.
It's easy to classify your products. Just look at the active ingredients they contain to understand which stage they belong to:
PROTECT:
- antioxidant actives such as pure vitamin C
- UVA/UVB filters, which provide the best SPF protection
ENHANCE:
- a stimulant such as caffeine
REPAIR:
