Dr Linda Gomis, her tips for fighting dull complexion

Dr Linda Gomis, cosmetic surgeon in Montpellier, shares her tips for combating dullness and caring for skin all year round. Discover her recommendations, combined with PERS treatments for visible results.

Tip n°1: "Double cleansing is best".

Dr. Gomis' tip: For clear, impurity-free skin, start with an oil to remove make-up and sun filters, then use a foaming cleanser.

The PERS solution: PERS double cleansing works in two stages to deeply purify the skin while preserving its natural balance. Start with Radiance Cleansing Balm to remove lipophilic residues deep down. Follow with Soothing Cleansing Gel to eliminate persistent impurities and make-up residues.

Tip n°2: "Protect your skin for the day".

Dr. Gomis' advice: Skin needs are different in the morning than at the end of the day. Throughout the day, it is confronted with oxidative stress, pollution, UV rays and so on. Vitamin C acts as a shield against free radicals. It brightens the complexion and regulates melanin production to reduce the appearance of spots.

The PERS solution: The stabilized vitamin C present in our Vitamin C Serum 10% provides instant radiance while protecting against oxidative stress. Its fluid texture makes it ideal for daily use.

Tip n°3: "Exfoliate chemically".

Dr. Gomis' tip: Chemical or enzymatic exfoliation once or twice a week is enough to remove the skin's surface layer and dead cells. This stimulates skin renewal for a brighter, smoother complexion. Avoid over-aggressive mechanical exfoliation, which leads to overproduction of sebum.

The PERS solution: Use Retinol Serum 0.3% 3 nights a week to stimulate cell renewal and improve skin texture.

Tip #4: "Change your pillowcase every 5 days".

Dr. Gomis' tip: To prevent the build-up of bacteria and preserve the health of your skin, change your pillowcase every 5 days. It's a small gesture that can make a big difference!
